EAN 2026: NorMig Evaluates Dual Therapy for Chronic Migraine

The NorMig trial was presented by Burcu Bezgal, Neurologist and PhD Candidate, Department of Neurology, Oslo University Hospital, Norway, at the EAN 2026 Congress. As the first international randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind phase III trial, NorMig is investigating whether combining a CGRP monoclonal antibody with onabotulinumtoxinA can improve outcomes for patients with chronic migraine who remain symptomatic despite monotherapy. Recruitment has begun in Norway and is planned to expand internationally, including to other Nordic countries.
