Ângela Sofia Gerós Mesquita is a PhD student in Clinical Sciences at the University of Bergen. 

Ângela Sofia Gerós Mesquita’s primary focus is to explore how alterations in the bone marrow (BM) niche affect hematopoiesis and contribute to the onset and progression of hematologic malignancies, particularly myelodysplastic syndromes. As a researcher, Ângela Sofia Gerós Mesquita aim to contribute to the development of innovative therapeutic strategies to combat these complex diseases.
