Thomas Harbo
Thomas Harbo is associate professor at the Institute of Clinical Medicine at Aarhus University and senior consultant at the Department of Neurology at Aarhus University Hospital in Aarhus, Denmark.
Harbo’s neurology training was at Aarhus University Hospital and he has completed a neuromuscular fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, USA. His clinical and academic interest is focused on acute and chronic inflammatory neuropathies including Guillian-Barre Syndrome (GBS), chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), and multifocal motor neuropathy (MMN).
He is chair of the Peripheral Nervous Society (PNS) Guideline Committee, secretary at the Inflammatory Neuropathy Consortium, a special interest group of the PNS, and a member of the Global Medical Advisory Board of GBS-CIDP Foundation International.
