Axel Petzold

Axel Petzold, MD, PhD, FRCP, FRCOphth, FRCPath, is a Consultant Neurologist at Moorfields Eye Hospital (MEH), The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (UCLH NHNN) in London, and the Amsterdam University Medical Centre (AUMC). At AUMC, he is the Director of the Dutch Expertise Centre for Neuro-Ophthalmology. He has a clinical background in multiple sclerosis, optic neuritis, neuro-critical care, and oversees the MEH-UCLH TIA and Stroke integrated care pathway.
