Kaija-Leena Kolho

Kaija-Leena Kolho, MD and PhD, is a pediatric gastroenterologist. Kaija-Leena Kolho was appointed in 2009 as a professor of Pediatrics at the University of Helsinki and Helsinki University Hospital, Finland. Her main research interest is in inflammatory bowel disease. She has acted as the representative of ESPGHAN (European Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition) in the Scientific Committee of UEG (United European Gastroenterology). Currently, she is a member of the IBD study group Porto group of ESPGHAN. She has authored more than 250 original peer-reviewed articles, several other articles, and book chapters and supervised several PhD studies.
