Sarah Louise Christensen
Sarah Louise Christensen is a veterinarian with a specialization in biomedical research and a PhD in in vivo pharmacology from the University of Copenhagen and the Danish Headache Center. With a decade of experience working with animal models of migraine, including research stays at the University of Illinois and Harvard Medical School, Sarah is now a senior scientist in the migraine basic science lab at the Danish Headache Center, Department of Neurology, Copenhagen University Hospital – Rigshospitalet, in Denmark. Her main research focus is on developing reliable migraine models based on trigger substances identified in humans and investigating the signaling pathways involved in migraine pain using these models.
