Solveig Hofvind

Solveig Hofvind, PhD, is the Head of BreastScreen Norway, which is administered by the Cancer Registry of Norway – Norwegian Institute of Public Health. She is also a Professor of Radiography at the UiT The Arctic University of Norway.

Hofvind works with research on breast cancer and screening, with a main focus on epidemiology, artificial intelligence, risk and prognosis, diagnostics, and treatment. She is involved in a number of national and international research collaborations. Hofvind has 15 years’ experience as radiographer within breast cancer and mammography.
