Obese axSpA patients have greater disease activity
In a BestPractice Nordic MEDtalk, Professor Marco Garrido-Cumbrera introduces the results from the largest European axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) survey. They reveal that obese patients present greater disease activity, spinal stiffness, and poorer mental health. The data also suggests that women with axSpA are more vulnerable to obesity than men.
