Alexander Fuglkjær

Alexander Fuglkjær is MSc in mathematical engineering and doing a PhD in clinical machine learning. His research is about infection related hospitalizations in cancer patients. The goal is to develop a decision support tool that can risk stratify patients into high- and low-risk groups based on if the patient should be hospitalized or if they can safely be treated in an outpatient setting.

His area of interest is to develop trustworthy, transparent machine learning tools that can utilize the clinical data available through the hospitals to make the treatment easier for patient, ultimately resulting in a higher quality of life for the patients.
