Joana Revés

Dr. Joana Revés is a final-year Resident in Gastroenterology at Hospital Beatriz Ângelo in Loures, Portugal. She has focused on clinical practice and research in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), particularly Crohn’s Disease. Her research interests include the efficacy of early biological therapy and the role of different outcomes such as transmural healing. Dr. Revés has also developed her curriculum in intestinal ultrasound and serves on the Communication Committee of the Intestinal Bowel Ultrasound Group (IBUS Group).
