No Association Between Bowel Damage and Disability in Patients with Recently Diagnosed Crohn’s Disease
The CROCO study, presented at the ECCO 2024 congress, indicates that, after one year, there’s no significant link between bowel damage and disability in newly diagnosed Crohn’s disease patients. One-third of the patients showed no bowel damage, and for those who did, it was minimal.
