Gender-Based Outcomes in Advanced NSCLC
In this MEDtalk, Matilde Grupe Frost, MD, PhD, presents findings from a large Danish cohort study investigating how sex influences survival in advanced NSCLC. The study, which included over 14,000 patients, shows that women have significantly better survival outcomes than men, an effect not explained by known clinical or biological factors. She furthermore discusses the implications for future oncology research, trial design, and clinical practice.
