Should we consider ‘’real MS’’ more as a smouldering pathological disease process?

In this MEDtalk professor and neurologist Gavin Giovannoni presents a new way to consider disease progression and management of multiple sclerosis (MS). He has much experience with MS patients worsening over time without any obvious inflammation. Looking more deeply into that phenomenon, new research provides a range of evidence to argue that the ‘real MS’ is in fact driven primarily by a smouldering pathological disease process.
