Anders Mark Christensen

Anders Mark Christensen is an MD and holds a PhD. Currently, he works at the Department of Surgery at Odense University Hospital and the Department of Clinical Epidemiology at Aarhus University Hospital.

Anders Mark Christensen’s research focuses on a wide array of surgical aspects of IBD. Using primarily the nationwide Danish health registries, examining outcomes relating to surgery, including morbidity and mortality after acute and elective surgery, reproductive risks after surgery, clinical disease course after surgery, and long-term risk of cancer.
