Functional precision cancer medicine

Functional precision medicine provides strategies to support clinical decisions on the personalized treatment of cancer patients by using available tests on live patient cells, for example, by testing cell viability after exposure to drugs. In this MEDtalk, Kjetil Taskén, professor, Department of Cancer Immunology and head of the Institute for Cancer Research, Oslo University Hospital, Norway, gives his perspective on the potential of functional precision medicine.
