A cancer diagnosis is associated with a greater risk of developing diabetes

A new study by Professor of Oncology Christoffer Johansen and his group concludes that patients with cancer are at a 5-fold greater risk for developing diabetes and have a higher mortality rate than cancer patients without diabetes.
