Endotropin as risk marker for complications in type-2 diabetes

Endotropin is a cleavage product originating from collagen VI and is used as a reflection of fibrotic activity. At the annual EASD meeting in 2022, MD and Ph.D. student Ninna Hahn Tougaard presented her study, asking whether endotropin can be used as a risk marker for complications in patients with type-2 diabetes.
